RTÉ announce new Premiership deal

This means that RTÉ Television will broadcast highlights from the full range of Premiership matches beginning with the 2007/2008 season.
Glen Killane, Head of Sport, RTÉ Television said: "We're delighted with the outcome of the negotiations as it means that the public will enjoy even more Premier League football free-to-air on RTÉ Television from the 2007/08 season.
'Our unrivalled team of analysts and commentators will deliver in excess of 40 programmes per season covering the widest possible range of matches.'
Richard Scudamore, Chief Executive, Premier League said: 'We've always had a strong relationship with RTÉ Television and we're delighted to develop this further by awarding this comprehensive highlights package to the Irish public service broadcaster.'
