Kearney & O'Flynn set to leave Cork City

Ireland Under-21 international Kearney last night agreed a short-term deal with Dutch club Heerenveen, while O'Flynn was at Swansea City on trial last week, but is also being chased by two other English League One clubs. Swedish champions Djurgardens IF are also known to be interested.

As both players were free agents after the FAI Cup final defeat to Drogheda United, no transfer fee will be paid, but Kearney is still an Under-23 player, so that should ensure Cork get some compensation.
