Dublin City lead Shamrock Rovers 2-1 after the first leg on Monday. Dublin City finished second in the eircom League, First Division, and are bidding to clinch promotion to the Premier Division along with the First Division champions, Sligo Rovers.
The kick-off time has been changed to facilitate the telecast. The match, at Tolka Park, will now kick-off at 8.05 pm and not at 7.45 pm as was previously advertised.
The Setanta Sports Broadcast will commence at 7.55 pm. The commentary team will be Derek Kiely and former Shamrock Rovers manager and player, Liam Buckley. The broadcast will be presented by Des Curran with analysis by Pat Dolan.
A decision will have to be reached on Friday as to which of the two teams will play in the Premier Division next season.
The away goals rule will not apply should the teams finish level on aggregate after 90 minutes. Instead 30 minutes extra time will be played — two fifteen minute periods. And if the teams are still level then penalty kicks will be used to separate the two.
The revised arrangements for the game are:
