Hearts were drawn at home for the first leg of the tie, which will take place on 25 or 26 July, with the return to an eastern European destination the following week.
Liverpool and Arsenal will enter at the third qualifying round, while Premiership winners Chelsea, Manchester United and Scottish champions Celtic go straight into the group stages.
