Doyle duly slotted home the penalty past reserve 'keeper Mark Scoyne to put Rovers in front.

Tadgh Purcell added the second goal on 31 minutes when heading home Dave O'Connor's cross to effectively end the match as a contest.

Doyle added his second on 55 minutes when charging down Scoyne's attempted clearance to roll the ball into an empty net.
