Shamrock Rovers Advance to Last Eight

Rovers took the lead in the 42nd minute when Jason McGuinness knocked a free-kick back across goal and 18-year-old Lee Roche headed home off a post.

McGuinness sealed the win on 66 minutes when he unleased a fantastic 40-yard drive that crashed into the net off the underside of the crossbar.
