ROUND UP:

At Drogheda United's 02 Park, Stephen Kenny's Euro-thrashed Gypsies moved
into sixth spot, eight points behind leaders Shelbourne, thanks to a late
winner from substitute Paul Keegan.
Their fifth win of the season seemed beyond them when Drogheda midfielder
Darren Beesley crossed for striker Andy Myler to head home at the back post
four minutes after the break.

Bohs were back in contention however when United keeper Gary Rogers was
adjudged to have brought down Glen Crowe in his area on 67 minutes. Skipper
Kevin Hunt struck the spot kick low to the United net for the equaliser.

Former Bray Wanderers' striker Keegan glanced home Fergal Harkin's cross in
the 92nd minute to send the away support into raptures.

Flancare Park saw Alan Matthews' Longford side muster their fourth win in
their last six games, against second-placed Waterford United, to go seven
games unbeaten.

Town always looked the more likely to score and substitute Sean Francis, on
the field barely seven minutes, side-footed home from the edge of the six
yard box from a Shane Barrett cross on 69 minutes for the eventual winner.

In the First Division, Alan Murphy's twelfth goal of the season rescued a
valuable point for Galway against second placed Finn Harps.

Harps opened the scoring in the 49th minute through new signing Sean
Flannery, heading his second goal in the space of eight days.

Pressure from a Galway corner forced Paddy McGrenaghan to bundle the ball
past his own keeper Alan Young ten minutes later for the United leveller.
Harps' striker Kevin McHugh raced past Mick Quirke to shoot the Donegal side
into the lead on 78 minutes before Murphy won and scored a 90th minute spot
kick for a share of the spoils.

Dublin City lost their first competitive match on their travels this season,
going down to a sole Marc Kenny goal five minutes before half-time at
Station Road.

The well-struck goal from former Liverpool midfielder Kenny gave Eric
Hannigan's side their tenth win of the season and the new boss' second win
on the trot.

Kenny was dismissed however three minutes after the interval for a harmless
challenge on Thomas MacAuley, but Kildare bravely held on for a victory that
sees them assume top spot on goal difference.
