Bray remain five points behind second-placed Dublin City with a game in hand on their leading rivals, City and Finn Harps.
City failed to climb back to the summit of the table following Finn Harps' 2-0 win over Monaghan last night, as John Gill's Dublin 9 outfit drew 0-0 with ninth-placed Cobh Ramblers at Whitehall. There is now just one point separating the top two.
Elsewhere Eric Hannigan's Kildare County, residing in fourth, maintained the two-point gap between themselves and Bray, with the night's second 0-0 stalemate against Sligo Rovers at Station Road.
The only goals of the night came from Bray's trip to Galway, as first half goals from Mark Herrick, scoring his second of the season and first for 18 games, and Barry Moran looked to have given the home side the full points.
Striker Moran netted his sixth of the season on 52 minutes to cancel out Eamon Zayed's 50th minute strike for Bray, leaving the scoreline at 3-1, going into the final half-hour. But Wanderers' never-say-die attitude salvaged a point for them as first John Flood (85 minutes) from an Eddie Gormley cross and then Tresson (92) brought them back from the brink at Terryland.
Galway are still unbeaten in seven games however as they continue their late play-off push.
