EIRCOM LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION:
Cobh Ramblers 0 (Hill s/o 42, Murphy s/o 70) Sligo Rovers 1 (Keogh 10)
Dublin City 1 (McLean og 49) Dundalk 0
----------------------------------------
McLean’s second goal of the season, unfortunately at the wrong end, sees City complete the double over the county Louth side following their 2-0 win at Oriel Park in July. City are now unbeaten in seven games, with a tricky visit to seventh placed Sligo due next Saturday.
Rovers themselves plundered a valuable three points away from St Colman’s Park tonight, as Ollie Keogh’s first league goal of the season handed them a 1-0 victory over Cobh Ramblers.
The home side had player-manager Dave Hill sent off three minutes before the break. And Ramblers’ night went from bad to worse as Darren Murphy was dismissed for his second booking on 70 minutes.
