FAI Cup Third Round dates and venues announced

The eight eagerly awaited FAI Cup third round ties have had their dates and venues confirmed this evening by the Football Association.

Intermediate side Skerries Town will visit reigning Premier Division champions Bohemians on Friday night just as the only all-Premier Division tie, Drogheda United against UCD is getting under way at 02 Park.

Friday will see four games whilst the remaining four are spread over Saturday and Sunday. Non-leaguers Cherry Orchard will fancy their chances of upseting Kildare on Saturday whilst the round's biggest chance of an upset could be Derry City's visit to Galway's Terryland Park on Sunday evening.
