Bray opened the scoring when their Romanian striker when Andrei Georgescue turned the ball home from six yards.
Despite Bray missing a number of good chances to extend their lead it was Derry who levelled on the stroke of half-time when Ciaran Martyn burst clear to knock the ball past Chris O'Connor.
Derry had a goal from Mark Farren disallowed for offside in the 67th minute and found themselves behind in the 76th minute when Bray grabbed a controversial goal.

From a corner Bray's Eamon Zayed flicked the ball on to Colm Tresson who appeared to hit the ball over the line with his arm while on the ground but Derry got back on level terms when Brian McGovern headed Ruaidhri Higgins corner into his own net.
