Bray took the lead in the 44th minute with a glorious strike from Georgescu who volleyed home from 22 yards after receiving a great pass from David Tyrell.

Harps almost grabbed an equaliser early in the second half but Paddy McGrenaghan angled shot was well saved by O'Connor.

Bray extended their lead on 67 minutes when Harps defender Shane Bradley failed to cut out a tame cross from Georgescu which allowed Eamon Zayed to home from close range for his 12th league goal of the season.

Harps did get a late consolation goal when Capper fired home from eight yards after the always dangerous Kevin McHugh had created the opening. But somehow Bray held on in the dying minutes for another valuable three points.
