Stephen Ward scored twice in the first half for Bohemians, the first after just 4 minutes when he swept home from Des Byrne’s though ball and the second when he spun and blasted a volley into the roof of the net from a Fergal Harkin corner.

Wayne Callaghan got one back for Wayside back into the match on 67 minutes after being set up by brother Ian.

Then, with 91 minutes up on the clock, Alan McHugh flicked on a corner and central defender O’Neill blasted into the net off a post to wild celebrations.
