U21: Two changes forced on Givens

Stcokport County's Daly, 20, has withdrawn with a knee injury, having suffered with a persistant ankle worry earlier in the year.

It is Deane’s first call-up to the Under 21 squad and the Londoner – who is equally at home on the wing or in attack – will be hoping to impress the watching Under 20 manager Gerry Smith ahead of next month’s World Youth Championships in the United Arab Emirates.

Deane was a regular in Brian Kerr’s underage squads and has been included in every squad by Smith since he took over as Under 20 manager in February.

His inclusion means that manager Don Givens has been forced to make three changes to his original squad with Glenn Whelan (Bury - on loan Manchester City) and Eamon Zayed (Bray Wanderers) being called in earlier this week because of the withdrawals of Darren Potter (Liverpool) and John O'Flynn (Cork City).

Squad: Connor (Waterford United), Henderson (Aston Villa), Capper (Scarborough), Kelly (Tottenham Hotspur), Thompson (Nottingham Forest), Fitzgerald (Blackburn Rovers), Kohlmann (Borussia Dortmund), Kendrick (1860 Munich), Foley (Luton Town), Thornton (Sunderland), O’Connor (Brentford), Whelan (Bury), Keegan (Leeds United), Hoolahan (Shelbourne), Zayed (Bray Wanderers), Elliott (Manchester City), Deane (Charlton Athletic), Walters (Bolton Wanderers).
