McCaffrey Names Under 19 Squad

The matches will form part of the squad's preparations for the first phase of the UEFA Under-19 qualifying series, scheduled for Macedonia from the October 6-11.

Ireland will meet the Netherlands, Belarus and the hosts Macedonia at the qualifiers, with the top two nations progressing into next year's Elite phase.

'We will have two difficult games against the Ukraine and that is what we need as build-up for the qualifiers in October, ' McCaffrey admitted.

'I am delighted that several of the players have experienced European competitive football with us last season but now we have to blend the other players into the squad and develop the team as a unit.'
