Algarve and La Manga dates confirmed for underage sides

McCaffrey delighted with tournament invitations
The Under 17 squad will compete in the Algarve Tournament in Portugal from the 25th - 28th February 2006 alongside Portugal, France and Holland.

Meanwhile the International squad of Under 19s will play in the La Manga Tournament from 27th Feb - 3rd March 2006 at the invitation of the Football Association of Norway who host the tournament. Norway, Scotland and a 4th team yet to be confirmed will be involved with the Irish.

Manager McCaffrey said, "we are delighted to be invited into these tournaments by the host countries. The quality of the participating teams in each grade is extremely high and this is the correct preparation for our Elite phase of the European Championships".
