Henry May Not Make The World Cup Squad

French International Thierry Henry is a doubt for Frances World Cup quest in South Africa. The striker who's handball in Paris against the Republic of Ireland that led to Frances controversial winner is not getting much game time with Spainsh giants Bareclona. This is in part due to injury and loss of form, but also with the brilliance of Lionel Messi this season.

Raymond Domenech has a wide range of quality forwards to choose from which makes Henrys position even harder. The Irish public were outraged with Henry after the play-off game in November in Paris where he kept a ball going out of play in with his arm and crossed for William Gallas to score. He may now be axed from the squad which would delight the Irish fans.

Domenech said on ww,rte/sport.ie

"It is a question that would arise on 11 May (the date of the initial squad announcement)."

Domenech added

"I have deep respect for great players. Thierry has been, is (a great player). He does not play, but he is at Barcelona and he plays in a big competition."

'But I cannot help 'Titi' in this way.'
