Transfer Rumours part 2

Sunderland are prepared to shatter their transfer record for Celtic winger Aiden McGeady. They will probably bid around £7M plus Anthony Stokes for the highly rated Irish international but it is unlikely Celtic will accept anything under £10M plus Stokes. The deal looks likely for the 22 year old double Scottish player of the year.

Stephen Reid looks like he may follow old boss Mark Hughes out of Ewood Park and join him at Manchester City. Reid who spent a good while injured over tghe past 4 seasons is trying to be fit for the start of the season having had another operation on his knee.

Paddy McCourt who was one of the Eircom Leagues finest players has joined WBA for the new season in the Premiership. The Northern Ireland International has been a fans favourite at the Brandywell will hope it improves his international prospects.
