Aiden McGeady who is both young player and senior player of the year in the SPL is wanted by Roy Keane of Sunderland. It is thought Keane will bid for the Republic of Ireland midfielder during the summer.
It was reported in the Glasgows Evening Times that Sunderland would table a £7 Million plus bid plus Anthony Stokes. It is not known whether Celtic would want to sell or if they would even want Stokes. In his loan spell at Falkirk while at Arsenal, Stokes scored for fun and Celtic were interested in the young Dubliner back then. He chose to move to Sunderland but has never really settled at the club.

Fulham are lining up an approach for Reading striker Kevin Doyle. The Wexford man had a poor second season in the Premier League but had an amazing first season and is thought to be top of Roy Hodgsons shopping list. Aston Villa and Wigan are also keen though Fulhams bid of £2.5M will be rejected by Reading.
