This will come as more bad news for Brian Kerr as Thuram joins Zinedine Zidane and Claude Makelele who announced early in the week that they also will be making their return to the French squad just 12 months after their decision to retire from international football.French manager Raymond Domenech has announced that Zinedine Zidane will return to central midfield and resume his role as captain when he makes his comeback for France later this month.
"Zizou is the new captain. It's the right thing to do," Domenech said.
