The Under-21 player gets a first ever call-up after Liverpool's Steve Finnan, Newcastle's Andy O'Brien and Gary Breen of Sunderland were forced to pull out through injury.
Finnan and Breen both have knee problems while O'Brien is suffering from an ankle injury. On Friday, Brian Kerr brought Manchester City defender Richard Dunne into the squad although he missed Saturday's training session. Celtic midfielder Liam Miller is a doubt for the game because of a hamstring injury.
Kerr has announced that Cardiff's Graham Kavanagh will start on Tuesday while Andy Reid, Steven Reid and Stephen McPhail will get a run at some stage.
