Evertons Seamus Coleman and Aston Villas Ciaran Clark make their debuts after both players have had great starts to their club careers in the Premiership this season. Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has lost players like James McCarthy through tiredness, Robbie Keane is out with a calf injury and Liam Lawrence and Leon Best are injured. Paul Green or Darren Gibson will start as the Italian manager has not made up his mind.
