Tardelli looks at the next 3

Last updated : 26 March 2009 By Paul Jennings
Marco Tardelli thinks that the Republic of Ireland will be either in a dogfight or pole position by June. The Irish assistant coach feels that the next three group games will leave us in no doubt as to where we are in the qualifying process.

The Republic of Ireland face Bulgaria on Saturday, before the dangerous trip to Bari, Italy on Wednesday night. Our next fixture is the second round against Bulgaria in June in a stadium where Irish teams have had little or no luck in the past.

Tardelli said on www.independent.ie

"We have three matches that are very important," "We have Bulgaria, Italy, and Bulgaria. Three matches for South Africa. It's possible."
