Man of the match display by Doyle
Doyle laid on the opener - a Richard Naylor own goal - headed home the second and almost broke the crossbar in a powerhouse display.

Former Cork City star Doyle was at the heart of everything good Reading did before he was substituted to a standing ovation.

The 22-year-old forward helped break the deadlock on 18 minutes. After some good work on the right flank Doyle launched in a dangerous ball was heading for team-mate Leroy Lita until Naylor's intervention steered it past Lewis Price.

Doyle then doubled his side's lead just two minutes after the break when he was on hand to head home from Glen Little's inch perfect cross.

The young Irishman eventually departed for Dave Kitson but not before both he and Lita struck the woodwork in an amazing sequence.

Doyle played a delightful ball through to Lita who lashed a volley against the post, with Doyle crashing the rebound against the underside of the bar.
