Hibernian boss John Huges is in the hunt for Sunderland fringe player Anthony Stokes. The deal may be a season long loan with Hibs taking the option to buy next summer. Stokes bagged an astonishing 14 goals in 16 matches on a loan spell at Falkirk three seasons ago but has no future at Sunderland.
Hibernian have signed Patrick Cregg from Falkirk and the ex Republic of Ireland youth international Cregg spent reunites with John Hughes at Easter Road. Cregg also played with Stokes in Arsenal youth team.
