Stans names his squad

Steve Staunton has named Joey O'Brien and Stephen Carr as his new faces back in the Republic of Ireland Squad. Troubled Man City midfielder comes back in despite his troubles leaving the Czech squad early to go home on a flight.

Some poor players remain in the squad in what must be Stauntons last throw of the dice. It seems Senior FAI officials have become frustrated with both Delaney and Staunton since the poor dislays last month.
