Squad named for qualifiers

Steve Staunton has gone with his tried and trusted squad to play in the double header at the start of next month. With Stephen Carr out he has drafted in Irish U-21 and Wolves full back Kevin Foley. Darren Gibson who is at the centre of a row between the IFA and the FAI has also been included. Irish fans will hope Staunton doesn't try and pick a negative line up after he included Douglas from Leeds and revert back to the style of football seen in earlier qulaifying games
