Irish fans have been given an increase of 2,500 tickets for the Slovakia game in Bratislava which will now cater for 6,000 fans. It will only help the FAI
meet demands for tickets from account holders received before the June 22nd closing date.
The match which takes place on September the 8th but as demand is always high for Irish matches it looks like thousands of Irish fans who didn't book tickets will be let down.
The FAI are trying to free up more tickets from the Czech FA for the Irish match on the 12th of September, but it seems like a losing battle. The Irish allocation of tickets is limited to 2,500 tickets, which is the 10% that is demanded for FIFA Rules. The FAI will not be able to meet the massive ticket demand from this allocation and like the Slovakia game if extra tickets are secured it will only allow for account holders.
