Rovers back at Milltown

This was a quick visit down memory lane to Milltown, and back home for any Shamrock Rovers fan. To the day 20 years ago when Shamrock Rovers drew 1-1 with Sligo Rovers in an FAI Cup Semi-final. This was to be their final game in what is now regarded as the mecca for any hoops fan old enough to remember.

As part of the MILLTOWN20 series of events surrounding this date, Shamrock Rovers held a brief ceremony at the Milltown monument at Glenmalure Square on Thursday to officially mark this historic occasion at the site of their former ground.
