New Liverpool and Irish striker Robbie Keane is excited at the prospect of playing in front of the Kop in a Champions League match. He has dreamt of playing for the Liverpool in Europe and tomorrow his chance will come.

Standard Liege stand in his and the Reds way as they hope to continue their yearly ticket into the group stages. Keane is confident Liverpool can get the job done.

He said

"We've two wins out of two in the league and that's all you can ask for. We haven't played well but we're still getting results and that's the sign of a good team.

"Now we're looking forward to the Champions League game against Liege and we know how important it is to make sure we get into the group stages.

"It will be great to play at Anfield on a European night and hopefully we can progress and there will be lots more of those nights to come this season."
