Steven Reid has extended his loan to West Bromich Albion until the end of the season. The Blackburn midfielder contract is up in the summer and become a free agent. Reid has played for West Brom at left back and scored a goal since returning form an injury plauged Blackburn career
The 29-year-old Republic of Ireland International moved to West Brom on a month's loan in March. Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo wanted to keep him and had the loan term extended until May. This delighted Reid as he has had a nightmare 3 seasons with long term knee problems.

"I'm delighted with the way it's gone. We've had a decent run and I'm delighted to have played so many games,"
"I think I've played five 90-minute games in 21 days. Before that I hadn't played five 90-minute matches in the league in well over a year."
He also added he does not know where his future lies.
"My future's a bit uncertain. I've put that to the back of my mind over the last few months while I've tried to get back to fitness and I'm not letting it worry me. First and foremost I'm looking to the next game and the next 90 minutes.
"If I do well then it would be nice, contract-wise, if something could be there. If I keep performing well and that leads to a longer stay at the club then I will be delighted - and it will mean I've done well for the club."
