Wim Kovermans is set to try and snatch back hot prospect Barry Maguire. The player was born in Holland but grew up in Ireland played for Ireland at under-15 level. After moving to Holland he changed allegiences to the Netherlands. His mother is Dutch whilst his father is Irish.
Now 18 Maguire signed for FC Utrecht from Den Bosch. He is thought to be a fantastic prospect and has played 70 times for the Dutch first division side. He can still switch back but he has to by he turns 20 in October next year.
Kovermans said
"Maybe we can bring him back to Ireland but it is his decision. I will definitely have a call with him. Barry showed me when he played for Holland against Ireland that he was a very good player,".
