The former Crystal Palace striker wants to put the nightmare of last season well and truly behind him in his second campaign with the Blues, which begins next month.
He has admitted to being buoyed by David Dunn’s arrival from Blackburn Rovers for £5 million just last week.
In fairness, Morrison missed out on the last two months of the season due to injury, and his lacklustre tally can be attributed to that but the fit-again forward sees this as a big chance to impress again at St Andrews.
'I don’t want to be the forgotten man but if I do my stuff on the pitch then people will sit up and take notice. I have got a lot to prove this season and hopefully I can do that,' he said.
'It was very frustrating for me as the team did well towards the end of the season. They went on a great run and watching some of the games I though I could have added to my tally of goals and reached double figures.'
