Loftus Road a venue

Queens Park Rangers ground Loftus Road is set to be a venue for a friendly for the Republic of Ireland football team. With Giovanni Trapattoni at the helm it looks set to be a busy period for the new management team. He will take on a training camp in Portugal, a friendly against Serbia and another International in England.
The new boss wants to see his players in action and the extra friendly is set to help him and his team access what he is working with. Croke Park will be unavailable but with most of our players based with England it is easy for the Italian to get the game organised. The game will most likely take place at the end of May or the start of June. No opponents have been mentioned yet.
