Lawrence earns PFA award

Former Sunderland misfit Liam Lawrence has been named in the PFA Championship team of the season. It is a fitting honour for the one cap Irish international who has found his time in Stoke successful. He has been pivotal in his Stokes fantastic season.
 
They are on the brink of promotion to the Premiership and if they succeed it can only be good for him and the Irish team.

The Potters midfielder has scored 15 goals from midfield and is also top of the Championship assists chart. He must be worth a place in any Irish squad and will have caught the eye of Liam Brady and Marco Tardelli.
