New Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez is thought to be interested in bringing Keith Andrews to the JJB stadium. Andrews who moved to Rovers ten months ago from the MK Dons has established himself in the Irish midfield. This is mainly due to his move and after Sam Allardyce took over the reigns he still managed to hold down his club place. He may find it hard to get his game in the team next season which has alerted Wigan.

Roy Keane is set to go back to his old club Sunderland to buy promising young Irish U17/19 midfielder Conor Hourihane. The talented 18 year old midielder has not made an appearance for the Sunderland first team. The Cork influence may sway Hourihane and also the prospect of getting into the Ipswich first team squad.
