Discussions between Albion and the Premiership side looked to have hit a snag when WBA asked for Villa to contribute to Kinsella's wages while he stayed at the Hawthorns but an agreement looks to have been brokered after initial refusal from Villa.
The former Charlton midfielder is out of contract at the end of this season at Villa Park and should make a more permanent move in the summer.
