"Every player they have is playing in the Champions League, or has been part of their World Cup and European Championship success," said Kerr. "They have great depth, players who have been waiting for their chance."
''They have players like the three with Monaco (Sebastien Squillaci, Patrick Evra, Gael Givet) who last season helped the club reached the final of the Champions League,'' he added.
"These players are not 19 or 20-year-old players. They are all good players.
"I am sure he (Raymond Domenech) wanted experience, and I suppose it shows he has respect for us that his squad has changed so much since the last two games.''
"Maybe he sees us as more of a threat than he did Israel and the Faroes, but when the match starts psychological boosts are out of the window,'' he continued.
"It will be about whatever 11 players they have on the pitch and our 11, and how we play in the game on the day.
"It is up to us to be ready and to ensure we get the best possible performance from the 11 we have, and that is what they will be aiming for.
"Domenech is very experienced and he will know what he will be doing."
Kerr and his 23-man squad, minus Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given - whose wife is expecting their first child back in the North-east, flew out to Paris this morning and they are due to have their first taste of the Stade de France sward tonight.
Last night the squad - including a newly shaven-headed Roy Keane, enjoyed a performance of Abba hits in the musical 'Mamma Mia!' at Dublin's Point Depot.
A large crowd gave Kerr's charges a standing ovation.
