Kelly to sign for Birmingham

Kelly, who made his Republic of Ireland debut against Chile earlier this year, will hold talks about personal terms with the Coca-Cola Championship club over the weekend after failing to hold down a first-team place at White Hart Lane last season.

The Dublin-born defender signed a new one-year contract at Spurs last month but competition for the right-back berth from Canadian international Paul Stalteri last season saw him make just 10 appearances and he looks set to move to St Andrews.
