Kelly moves to Stoke

Republic of Ireland International full-back Stephen Kelly has been loaned to Stoke City from Birmingham until the end of the season.The move was in doubt as the weather prevented the English Premier League to rubber stamp the deal. Kelly was in luck as an exception was allowed and he will spend the rest of the season at the Victoria Stadium.

"I'm delighted to be here now,"

"It's been a long few days for me because I had just been waiting and waiting to see where my future lies.

"But I'm delighted it's here at Stoke because as soon as I heard of the interest, I was adamant that I wanted to make the move.

"I had a difficult time at Birmingham this year. I picked up an injury early on in the season and I have been working my way back to fitness. But I feel okay now and am ready to give a go here at Stoke City."
