Irish squad to face Norway

In his latest squad for the the game against Norway on November the 17th, Irish manager Giovanni Trapattoni has brought in a few new faces. Jonathan Walters gets his first Senior squad call up, while Caleb Folan and Stephen Hunt are selected after injury. Preston midfielder Keith Treacy is in the 27 man squad along with Stokes Marc Wilson.

Ciaran Clark is not in the squad with rumors that he felt he should be in a starting 11 if he was to wtich to the Republic. Everton fullback Seamus Coleman remains in the squad and is looking more impressive by the week scoring in the 2-2 draw against Blackpool at the weekend.

'This friendly is a good opportunity to bring some players that we have not seen much of into the squad. It is their chance to show me what they can contribute to the team.

'Friendlies are extremely important for us to continue to build the strongest squad possible for the Euro qualifiers.'
