MK Dons captain Keith Andrews scored a late winner to put Paul Ince's side into the CCC after beating promotion candidates Stockport County. The Dubliner who had previoulsy played for Wolves scored the goal that sent the Dons up.
Matt Holland has received praise from his manager Alan Pardew for picking up club player of the season award at the age of 34. The former Irish international came on top with another Irishman Paddy McCarthy,and Chinese player Zheng Zhi alos in the running.
Holland said
"I'm delighted. I've finished in the top three on a few occasions over the years so it's great to finally win it."
Pardew said
"Matt is a fantastic servant to Charlton and fully deserving of the award."
