Aiden McGeady has a club vs country row brewing at the end of the season. Celtic are going to Japan to play in an end of season trip in May which will clash with Giovanni Trapattonis training camp in Portugal.
McGeady said
"I don't know if I'll go to Japan. I've got two games with Ireland coming up and if selected hopefully I'll be away there. I'm really looking forward to working with Trapattoni."
Don givens and Liam Brady will help Trapattoni pick the first Irish squad for the training camp adding the 4 Irish U-21 players to be put into a senior squad. The Italian has asked under-21 manager Don Givens to nominate four players from the underage grade to join the senior squad. Andy Keogh and Stephen Quinn are hopeful with maybe Anthony Stokes and Owen Garvan also in the running.
