Lee Carsley retains his place in the centre of midfield, alongside Kevin Kilbane, with Andy Reid and Damian Duff on the wings.
Captain Robbie Keane and Kevin Doyle lead the attack.
Doyle is one of three changes to the team that drew 1-1 with the Czech Republic at Lansdowne Road nearly five weeks ago.
Striker Clinton Morrison, meanwhile, is a doubt for tomorrow night's clash.
The Crystal Palace forward limped out of training at the stadium today with a shin injury sustained in an accidental collision with Birmingham full-back Stephen Kelly.
'There was a clash of shins,' confirmed Staunton.
'It's now a matter of time, but he's going to be sore with bone bruising, which is never nice.
'It was an unfortunate accident, but that's football and we will have to wait and see how he is tomorrow.
'Stephen Kelly was involved in the clash. He took a rap as well, but he's not as bad as Clinton.'
