Ireland face the blues

The Republic of Ireland were drawn against 2006 World Cup finalists France today to the delight of FIFA(I'm sure). Traps men will face Les Blues at home first on November 14th, and then away in what looks to be a mountain of a task. The late announcement that the play-offs were to be seeded caused anger amongst the lower seeded teams including the Republic of Ireland.
