Meanwhile, Reading's Kevin Doyle beat off competition from Celtic's Aidan McGeady and West Brom's Paul McShane to claim the Young International Player of the Year award.
Ollie Cahill claimed the Eircom League Player of the Year award for the part he play in Shelbourne's successful championship bid last year.
Cahill, who signed for Drogheda Utd in January, won three league titles in five successful years at Tolka Park.
He said he was delighted with the award and also wished Shelbourne and their CEO Ollie Byrne well as he recovers from surgery in hospital.
Meanwhile, Luton Town's Kevin Foley claimed the Under 21 Player of the Year Award award.
