Switzerland will play France on August 20th in the Stade de Geneva as part of their build up to the last two games. While the Republic's next fixture at home to Australia, has been brought back 24 hours to August 19th to facilitate the staging of a Metallica concert in the RDS.

Brian Kerr's side's crucial last group game with the Swiss is in FC Basel’s Saint Jakob Park on October 11th. Irish fans will receive only 3,000 tickets, according to FAI sources, with the majority of those been given to fans who have block booking for internationals at Lansdowne Road.
