Doyle Double spoils Boltons party

Reading had their Irish mafia to thank as they came from a goal down to score 3 late strikes that saw off Bolton. A Uefa cup spot is very much in sight for Coppells Royals. The Reading supremo is very much in the running for a managero f the year award. Bolton took the lead through a Nicky Shorey own goal as a fierce Anelka shot which looked to be going wide deflected in off the unfortunate defender.
Bolton looked to have cemented their European place until Abdoulaye Meite pulled down Doyle in the penalty area. The Republic of Ireland international took the penalty with confidence as it flew past keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen. Five minutes later and Doyle was celebrating his second goal of the game and his 12th of the season. Substitute Seol Ki-Hyeon's right wing cross was met by the Wexford man for a simple tap in. To add salt to the wounds Shorey atoned for his earlier OG by crossing for another Irish internation Stephen Hunt to power home a close range header.
