Former Irish manager Jack Charlton, 74, collapsed while on holiday in Costa Blanca and had to go to hospital for a series of tests.
He was discharged from hospital on Tuesday 26th and will see out his family holiday. Charlton is the most successful Irish manager when he guided us to three major tournaments. He put Ireland on the map in Euro 88, and then plottec two World Cup campaigns.
His son John said on www.elevenaside.com
"It was a scare and he has been in hospital for three days. He has had more tests and checks than he would have had in the UK. His blood pressure is slightly higher than it should be so he has been given tablets. The weather has been extremely hot and I don't know if it was the heat and travelling but he did not feel well."
