4 Association Tournament Fixtures Announced

The Republic of Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scottish FA's met in Copenhagen to thrash out details and fixures for the
opening Four Associations Tournament in 2011. Dublin will host the first tournament and fixtures are on a league basis with six matches in total. The tournament will provisionally kick off on February 8th and 9th, 2011. There will then be a further four matches three months later scheduled between May 24-28.
FAI chief executive John Delaney said on www.fai.ie
"The Four Associations tournament will be the first ever tournament to be hosted by the FAI in Dublin. We expect huge numbers of fans to travel and alongside the UEFA Europa League Final, which will also be hosted in Dublin in May, the tournament will be a major boost for the tourism and hospitality industry.
"Both events will make for a real festival of football and will provide a fitting celebration for Aviva Stadium which is on schedule for completion next year."
